What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in time: 15:00 (available anytime of the day using the key lockbox next to the door, without a host present.) Should you wish to check in before 15:00, please inform us at least one day prior to ensure the house is ready and early check-in is possible. As a courtesy to our neighbours, we kindly ask that you move quietly with suitcases, especially during early or late hours.

Check-out time: 10:00 (in case of early check-out, we ask our guest to be quiet with suitcases to respect sleep of neighbourhood).

In Greece, it's customary — and legally supported by local law — for residents to rest (Siesta) during the afternoon. We kindly ask that guests respect quiet hours between 14:00 and 17:30 by minimising noise and handling luggage discreetly and to avoid loud activities during these times.

How do I get to the apartment with public transport?

Accepted Answer

If you choose to walk from the airport to the apartment, the distance is approximately 1 kilometer and takes around 13 minutes on foot. The route is safe, direct, and easy to follow—making this one of the most conveniently located places to stay.

To travel from Corfu Airport (CFU) to Garitsa, Corfu, you have several transportation options:

By Taxi:
Duration: Approximately 10 minutes.
Cost: Typically between €10–€15 (this may vary)
Taxis are available at the airport's designated taxi stand.

By Bus:

Route: Bus A5 connects the airport to the city center, stopping near Garitsa.
Duration: Around 15 minutes, including walking time.
Cost: €1 per person (may vary).
Procedure: The bus departs hourly from the stop directly in front of Terminal A. Inform the driver of your destination to ensure you alight at the nearest stop.

If you rent a car and drive, you can enter the apartment’s address into Google Maps on your phone. We will provide you with the exact address prior to your arrival to make your journey easy.

Are there grocery stores or restaurants nearby?

Definitely! Perfectly positioned the apartment offers, everything you need right on your doorstep! Directly outside the building within steps, you’ll find two supermarkets, a butcher, a café, bakeries, a fresh fish shop, a bookstore, and the bus stop is conveniently located right across the street, making it easy to explore Corfu. There’s also a pharmacy just a few minutes' walk away, should you need anything during your stay.

Just one street behind the apartment, the vibrant Garitsa area offers a fantastic selection of restaurants. From authentic Greek tavernas to elegant fine dining and fresh seafood spots with stunning sea views, Garitsa is one of the most enjoyable places to eat out in Corfu.

How do I pay my stay?

Payments can be made securely through our website at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other secure payment methods such as PayPal or bank transfer (if applicable).

Once your payment is received, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details of your stay. A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance due before your arrival.
